Rubrics and versioning
Two rubrics, both included
Principals are evaluated on the MPPR, the Multidimensional Principal Performance Rubric. Every other leader is evaluated on the MLPR, the Multidimensional Leadership Performance Rubric. Both ship ready to adopt.
Immutable published versions
Once published, a version cannot be edited. Each evaluation is pinned to the version it began with, so a later change never rewrites a score already given.
Domains, dimensions, descriptors
The rubric's own structure, kept intact: domains containing dimensions, each scored against the performance-level descriptors as written.
Weighting on 100 points
Your district assigns each domain its share. A domain weighted zero is excluded from the evaluation entirely.
Goal setting
Goal setting and attainment is a rubric domain like any other. Give it a weight and it appears; leave it at zero and it does not.
Rubric suggested by role
Starting an evaluation picks MPPR or MLPR from the job role on the person's record, so an evaluator never has to remember which instrument applies.

Autosave with a save state
Entries save as you make them and say so. A failed save is surfaced and retried rather than lost.
Per-dimension feedback
Comments attached to the dimension they are about, an overall note, and private notes that stay with the evaluator.
Live scorecard
A running total out of 100 and a count of dimensions scored, so nothing is a surprise at submission.
Drafts
Create an evaluation and leave it as a draft until the cycle actually starts.
Self-evaluation
A leader can score themselves against the same rubric, where the district allows it.

Files, links and notes
Three kinds of evidence, each with a title and description, searchable and filterable in one library.
Pinned to a dimension
Evidence attaches to the specific dimension it supports. Detaching it from one place leaves every other use intact.
Reusable
One artifact can support many dimensions across many evaluations without being uploaded again.
Workflow and disclosure
A real status model
Draft, in progress, submitted, under review, accepted, completed, with the person evaluated seeing plain wording like "awaiting review".
Score release gate
Optionally hold the numbers until the evaluator releases them, for districts that talk results through in person first.
Response and acknowledgement
The person evaluated can add a written response and acknowledge the record. Acknowledgement means read, not agreed.
Email notifications
Submitted, changes requested, accepted, released and finalized, all sent reliably rather than best-effort.
Print record
A print layout that drops the interface and produces a document on district letterhead.
Your data, and getting it out
Encrypted district backup
Your Coordinator can request a copy of the whole district, evidence files included. It is built in the background and you are emailed when it is ready.
A key we do not hold
You choose the passphrase at the moment you download, and the file is encrypted with it. We never store it, so nothing on our servers can open your backup.
Inspect before you trust it
A backup file can be opened in the app to preview what it contains, so a copy you are relying on is one you have actually checked.
Six-sheet Excel export
Summary, domain scores, item scores, evidence, narrative and the export parameters themselves, filtered by status and date.
Every export on the record
Who exported, when, with which filter and how many scores were withheld, kept as a permanent register entry.
Leave when you choose
Your Coordinator can request deletion of the district from inside the app, with a 30-day hold that can be cancelled. No exit process to negotiate.
Administration
Roster import with a dry run
Import from CSV and see exactly what would happen (invited, skipped, needs fixing) before anything is created.
Invitations
Bulk invite by email with per-person role and access level, and resend or revoke as needed.
Seat management
Live seat counts with the cost of a change shown before you make it. Coordinators do not consume a seat.
Custom terminology
Rename evaluations and evidence to your district's words. Screens, help and emails all follow.
District time zone
Set once, so a date means the same calendar day to everyone who reads it.
Role-filtered help guide
An in-app guide showing only what that reader's role can reach, written in the district's own vocabulary.
Everyday details
Passwordless sign-in
A one-time passcode to a work email, entered in the app. No password to manage or reset.
Light and dark
A theme per device, following the system setting unless told otherwise.

Full keyboard reach with visible focus, spoken labels on icon buttons and touch targets sized for a tablet.
Support from any screen
A support button on every page that captures where the person was without asking them to explain it.
